CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT DIVISION

Closing a case means that Alaska Child Support Enforcement Division (CSED) will stop all efforts to collect your support. CSED will release any licenses, passports, or liens unless support arrears are owed to the state or another party. We will review to see if we can remove your support.

Public assistance for the following questions is referring to:

  • Alaska Temporary Assistance Program (ATAP)
  • Tribal Temporary Aid for Needy Families (TANF)
  • Foster care

If you believe that CSED’s child support enforcement activities place you or your children at risk of harm, please contact us to discuss other options that may be available to you.

The person who applied for services or state assistance is the only case party who can request that their enforcement case be closed. You must answer yes in order to proceed.

Make sure your answer matches the criteria on the left.
